We had a lovely family holiday & have made lots of special memories. Your home has been great for our family – practical & met all our needs. We have visited lots of parks in the time we have been here, been very busy fitting it all in but lots of fun has been had! Round of golf was very enjoyable & the kids have loved the pool & the squirrels, rabbits & birds we have seen. Home now for a rest! Gill, Steve & family. We had a lovely holiday. We went to loads of parks & we met loads of characters. We had loads of times in & out of the pool but we have to go home again. We loved the pool & our rooms. But now we are going home for a rest! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay in your beautiful home! We have stayed at Southern Dunes many times in the past, but this villa is hands down the best! Your home is incredibly very well maintained, very well equipped, & exceptionally clean. We spent most of our time in & by the pool, which was lovely. We did have a few cold days but it was so relaxing to sit back & watch the squirrels playing & the birds feeding just outside the pool area. From the great shower to the perfect location within the community, everything was spot on. A huge well done & warmest wishes to the owners, Hazel & Joe, for such a lovely home. We are already looking forward to our next booking. Sadly we have to go home now. Karen & Rob.

Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your villa and facilities for our special holiday. It was a perfect base for our visits to Disney World resorts and Universal Studios which I will remember with new experiences and fondness of the time spent with my son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely villa. We loved our ‘lazy’ time in the pool, watching the birds, squirrels and lizards. We’ve had a brilliant 2 weeks, filled with lots of fun at Universal, Seaworld, Clearwater beach & Nasa – we even got to see a rocket launch! Manny’s Chophouse & Millers Ale House were our eating out highlights, Culvers for delivery was delicious. We are sad to be leaving, but hope to return a.s.a.p. Cracknell family, Derby, U.K.

Happy to be back for a second time to escape the UK winter, although the first 10 days were cold & wet ( had to put the heating on & buy jumpers!). Luckily lovely weather since and we have enjoyed sitting out and watching all the birds on the feeder, we’ve seen all sorts! No new places to recommend apart from Circle B nature reserve ( 40 min drive) where we got up close to alligators and saw bald eagles! And our first trip to Culvers, which we enjoyed ( frozen custard!). They did a great veggie burger too. Thank you for a lovely return stay.

Perfect….
We visited the villa in July 22. Two adult and 3 children ages 10, 9 and 6. The villa was perfect had everything that was required and great to return to at the end of a busy day at the parks. The villa overlooked a golf course and was peaceful. The pool and outdoor seating area was great, and all the children learned to swim in the two weeks. The owner Hazel kept in touch to see if we had settled in and made us most welcome. This villa is perfect, and I would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful 5 weeks reprieve from the Canadian cold & snow. We enjoyed the Sun, pool & house amenities. We were also able to golf on the Southern Dunes course two times. We enjoyed our stay in Southern Dunes so much we have booked again for 2020!

We had no hesitation in returning again to Hazel & Joe’s lovely villa, where we have had so many happy family holidays. Southern Dunes is a delightful and tranquil gated community, yet within an easy drive to the Orlando attractions and theme parks, whilst also convenient to go either direction to the many lovely coastal towns, south to Bok Gardens etc. It also has the convenience of supermarkets, shops and restaurants on your doorstep just outside of the community in Haines City, or even at the Southern Dunes clubhouse, a short walk away. The villa and pool deck are beautifully kept and clean, all overlooking the tended fairway of the golf course. It’s just an idyllic setting to sit, watch the birds and squirrels in the trees, read, swim, bbq and eat by the heated pool with a glass of wine in your hand. The villa is homely but well appointed, having aircon, wifi, cable TV, DVD etc. But, unlike so many rentals, is also well equipped for relaxing, cooking and dining. The garage is also well stocked with various games, bikes, sports equipment and pool inflatables. Highly recommended, which our return to in 2021 was unfortunately cancelled due to Covid restrictions. Hopefully, we will be there again soon

Fantastic villa We stayed in the villa for 10 days and it was beautiful, really spacious and well equipped on a lovely gated community, there was lots leaflets left with discount coupons on which was incredibly thoughtful. It is a really good location, close to all of the parks, we loved having the villa for some down time and it was definitely home away from home. Looking forward to returning now Covid restrictions are lifted, having had to cancel twice

A thoroughly enjoyable stay We met the owners by chance at their property in 2013 and have looked for an opportunity to stay in Sandhurst Villa ever since. This year we finally got to stay there and it lived up to our expectations in every respect. We have stayed in other properties on Southern Dunes many times and this one is right up there with the best! We loved the south-facing pool and the view across the fairway. The villa is very well furnished and decorated – it feels up-to-date, especially with English 3-pin sockets and USB connections. Hazel is very friendly, helpful and easy to get along with. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property to other visitors.
